Marquisha Oconner, BBA

Marquisha Oconner brings to her position of Property & Lifestyle Management Senior Associate a varied skill set, perfectly suited to the demands of a fast-paced, customer focused property management firm.

Within her role as Senior Associate at Masterkey Management Ltd. Marquisha manages a residential portfolio, conducts property inspections according to preventative maintenance and service schedules, liaises with owners, tenants and contractors, supervises minor works on-site and resolves urgent and ongoing management and service issues.

Marquisha’s career began in the hospitality industry in 2005. Most recently, she held the role of Group Sales Manager for Fairmont Southampton for six years where her excellent customer service and exceptional sales revenue granted her the Fairmont Masters incentive award. Within the role of Sales Manager, she coordinated and conducted resort tours, managed accounts, drafted proposals and contracts and assessed client needs as it pertained to function space and room bookings.

She is accustomed to working in fast-paced environments and demonstrates a natural ability to think quickly and successfully handle difficult situations. She is a highly organized multi-tasker with good time management and decision making abilities. Marquisha excels in building relationships with clients, maintaining a high level of professionalism and handling numerous client communications. She has significant experience and outstanding skills to build customer loyalty and retention.

As a Sergeant in the Royal Bermuda Regiment, Marquisha has proven her leadership and self-discipline qualities. She has worked at the Regiment in a part-time position for the past seventeen years within various roles.

Marquisha attended Mount Saint Vincent University in Nova Scotia, Canada where she obtained her Bachelors in Business Administration and Diploma in Tourism & Hospitality Management. She holds a certification in Human Resource Management, is a licensed Real Estate Agent and has obtained her Residential Management Professional (RMP) designation from the National Association of Residential Property Managers.
